Timko – Filomena Timko passed from this world Easter Monday, April 12th, 2004 in the Rockyview Hospital, Calgary, after suffering a series of heart attacks. She was born in Sulany, Slovakia on January 22nd, 1909. Filomena was an original pioneer farm wife of the Tilley district. She will be forever remembered for her kindness and loving attitude. Filomena was predeceased by her husband George in 1996 and her youngest son Steve in 1971. Left to grieve her passing are her immediate family George (Bobbie) and Paul (Florence). Also grieving the departure of their grandma are 10 grand children and 11 great grand children. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 19th from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Very Reverend Bryan Frank Celebrant. Burial followed in the Brooks Cemetery.
