Timchuk – Diana Lynn Timchuk of Brooks, passed away suddenly in Brooks, on October 29th, 2005 at the age of 47 years. Born in Brooks on May 19th, 1958 Diana received her education here. She moved to Calgary in the early 70’s returning to Brooks in 1993. Diana worked for Brooks Home Hardware Building Centre and recently with UFA Farm Store. She loved her family, her cat “Alf” and all children. Diana will be remembered for her compassion for other people and for always being there for her 2 boys, Mike and Jason. She was predeceased by her father Jim McBride. Diana is survived by her loving family – sons Mike Timchuk of Brooks and Jason Timchuk of Cold Lake; mother Phyllis McBride of Brooks; 4 siblings, sister Gerry Lawson and her husband Brian of Brooks, brother Bill McBride and his wife Sherry of Brooks; brother Jamie McBride of Brooks; sister Jackie McBride of Lethbridge; niece Charmaine; nephews Carl (Susie) and Mike; great niece Shelby. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 4th at 3:00 PM from Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ken Wells of St. Alban’s Anglican Church officiating.
