    September 11, 1922 – December 1, 2006
Winifred Edna Reeves (nee Bullock), beloved wife of Cecil Reeves of Calgary passed away peacefully on December 1, 2006 at Foothills Medical Centre at the age of 84 years. She was surrounded by her family who cherished her deeply.
Edna was born in Liverpool, England, where she spent the first thirty years of her life. She immigrated to Medicine Hat in 1952 with her mother and two of her siblings, and married Cecil Reeves in 1955. Edna was known and loved by family and friends as the wonderfully quirky, humorous, and outspoken English lady who made so many people welcome and comfortable at the family farm in Scandia, south of Brooks, and later at the Calgary condominium she shared with Cecil. Edna was shy by nature, but enjoyed the company of other people to such a large degree that she overcame her shyness and became a bit of a character. She keenly loved music, birds, trees and flowers, babies, lively discussions, finely crafted woodwork, delicious food, and all things colourful and beautiful, and she happily passed along her enthusiasm to her family. She devoted her whole life to her family and enriched their lives through her nurturing spirit, her humour and her generosity. Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, she will be sadly and longingly missed.
Edna is survived by husband Cecil, daughters Judy (Frank) MacIntyre of Charlottetown, Pam (Joe) Murphy of Westlock, Marj (John) Jorgensen of Retlaw, son Brian (Melanie) Reeves of Calgary; grandchildren Alyson & Bradley Jorgensen, Aden, Liam & Kieran Murphy, and Veronica & Julia Reeves; sisters Eileen Prior and Amy Stott in England, and Marjorie Bradley and Dorothy Petch of Calgary.
