Reeves – Stanley Robert Reeves passed away following a lengthy illness on May 12th, 2006 in Brooks at the age of 84 years. Stan was born in Medicine Hat, and spent his early life in Box Springs, Alberta. He moved to Scandia in 1945 where he spent his life farming and raising cattle with his two brothers, Cecil and Max and his uncle Edgar Reeves. He was predeceased at an early age by his parents and one sister Gladys and later by his sister Trudy, and brothers Art and Max. Stan is survived by his brother Cecil and his sister Lillian, both of Calgary, as well as four nieces and two nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10th at 11:30 AM from Salem Lutheran Church, Scandia. Rev. Jakob Pillibeit officiating.
