Redelback – Audrey Grace Redelback, beloved wife of Cliff Redelback of Brooks, passed away in Brooks on March 2nd, 2005 at the age of 70 years. Audrey was born on December 3rd, 1934 in Cassils and was raised and schooled in the area. She and Cliff were married on January 31st, 1951 in Brooks and resided in Calgary for a short time. They returned to Brooks and have resided here since. She had been employed as a Seamstress in the Brooks Health Centre for a number of years and later in Shipping and Receiving with the Hudson’s Bay Store in Brooks until its closing. Audrey will be remembered for her many talents. She was a member of the Brooks Handicraft Guild and enjoyed handicrafts of all kinds, weaving, pottery, doll making, pettipoint, glove making and furniture refinishing. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Mary Roberts and is survived by her loving husband Cliff; children Marie (Reinhold) Schuett in Brooks and Garth Redelback in Medicine Hat; grandchildren Cody Schuett, Carla Bateman and Felica Andringa; great grandchildren Brennen and McKenzie Bateman; brothers Ross (Mary) Roberts in Taber and Gary (Gwen) Roberts in Calgary; sisters Marilyn (Bill) Stewart in Calgary and Ann Roberts in Vancouver and nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 7th from Trinity Lutheran Church, Brooks. Rev. John Theiss officiated. Pallbearers were Ross Roberts, Gary Roberts, Bill Stewart, Dallas Stewart, Cody Schuett and Phil Bateman.
