Owen – Garrett James Owen, beloved son of Neil and Linda Owen of Patricia, went to be with his Heavenly Father on September 7th, 2004. He was predeceased by an uncle Philip James Nelson. Garrett will be greatly missed and forever loved by his family, 2 sisters Shelby and Alexandra and a brother Bennett all of Patricia; grandparents Donald and Margaret Owen of Patricia and Raymond and Iva Nelson of St. Paul Minnesota; 2 uncles Zane (Nancy) Owen and family and Ross (Brenda) Owen and family; 2 aunts Lenore (Russ) Fikowski and family and Kim (Jim) Hill and family. A family graveside services was held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 13th from the Brooks Cemetery. Rev. John Theiss and Assisting Minister Maggie Theiss of Trinity Lutheran Church officiated. Honorary Pallbearers were Shelby, Alexandra and Bennett. Active Pallbearers were Zane and Ross Owen. In memory of Garrett, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Brooks and District Health Foundation, Maternity Ward, Bag 300, Brooks T1R 1B3.
