    Norton – It is with great sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of our dear father, grandfather and great grandfather Jean Norton on December 25th, 2004. He died peacefully at his home in Rosemary at the age of 94 years. Jean was born on August 4th, 1910 in Lincoln, Idaho and came to Rosemary at the age of 11 with his family. He met his love Lorraine Eastman and they were married in 1931. They farmed in Rosemary for close to 50 years. Jean loved farming, raising cattle and being outdoors. His happiest times were spent with his family, visiting with his neighbors and many friends. Jean made a significant contribution to both his church and his community. He is predeceased by his soul mate and wife Lorraine in 1979. A second wife of 18 years, Thelma, who passed away in 1998. Jean is survived by his loving family son Gary and his wife Pat of Rosemary and daughter Gail Pronk of Calgary; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister Erma Gallup of Cardston, sister-in-law Neva Eastman of Rosemary and numerous nieces, nephews and scores of friends. Jean will be always lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 31st from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Rosemary. Bishop Mark Watson officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are all of Jean’s family. Active Pallbearers are Allan Norton, Tim Norton, Steven Norton, Richard Norton, Jeff Pronk and Darryl Pronk.
