    KUBE – (Ethel) June Kube, November 24, 1931 to May 1, 2004. June was born November 24, 1931 in Mannville, Alberta. She was the eldest child born to Jim and Ethel Allanach. She was raised on a farm in Mannville and Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. She was a very active member in 4-H and won many trophies while she was a member. She went to school in Mannville, Agricola, Yorkville, Fort Saskatchewan and the Alberta College in Edmonton. June met her soul mate Ronald Mathew Kube in the Spring of 1952. They were married September 4, 1953 at the United Church in Fort Saskatchewan. They were blessed with two sons and three daughters. They lived in many places including Drayton Valley, Edmonton and Fort St. John, British Columbia. June and Ron ran a very large oilfield company in Fort St. John for many years. They moved to Brooks in February of 1994 where June managed Greenbrook Mobile Home Park up to her passing. June was predeceased by her parents Jim and Ethel, father-in-law Clarence, brother-in-law Bob Bragg and son-in-law Jeff Perry. She is survived by her husband Ron of 50 years, by her children Brian & Eileen of Dawson Creek, B.C., Darrell & Alice of Brooks, AB, Brenda Carroll of Medicine Hat, AB, Tammy and Les Kingsep of Charlie Lake, B.C. and Michelle Perry of Brooks, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, two sisters – Donna Bragg and Joyce Friel and brother Stu Allanach and numerous nieces and nephews. June will be remembered for the love she had for her family and friends. Her great laugh and how she loved to play cards. A memorial service and celebration of June’s life will take place May 6, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Brooks, AB. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to your charity of choice.
