    Winston (Wynn) Fredrick Visser of Cheadle, Alberta passed away suddenly in his home on August 24, 2003 at the age of 42 years. Born in Brooks, Alberta on January 17, 1961 where he attended and graduated from Brooks Composite High School in 1979. The family lived in Drumheller, Cessford, Trail, BC and primarily in Brooks. Following graduation Wynn attended Grant McEwen College in Edmonton where he studied music, majoring in percussion and theory. Wynn worked at Safeway from 1981-1986. He married Dianna Lorraine Hajash on May 26, 1984. They lived in Brooks until moving to Calgary in August 1986. Wynn graduated as a Certified Engineering Technologist from SAIT. He worked at Novatel, Birchwood Furniture and Global Thermoelectric. Wynn returned to SAIT in August 1997 as an instructor of Industrial Engineering Technology in the Manufacturing and Automation Department. Wynn loved his family, friends and music, particularly jazz and played in several musical ensembles. He particularly enjoyed playing at Center Street Church since 1989. Wynn is survived by his loving family. Wife Dianna and children, Krystin and Nathan. His parents Diane and Sietse Visser of Gabriola Island, B.C. Sister Sheila and husband Danny Duncan, nephews Aaron, Jordon and Brandon of Redcliff, Alberta. Brother Darren Visser and wife Lavonne, nephews Dallen, Deven, Dale and Donaven of Brooks. Funeral services were held at the Centre Street Church, 4120 Centre Street North, Calgary on Thursday August 28 at 1:00 p.m. In memory of Wynn, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 1825 Park R. S.E. Calgary or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 105, 7500 Macleod Tr. S.E.
