Visser – Mo (Morris) Visser passed away in Brooks on February 27th, 2005 at the age of 59 years. Mo was born in Opperdoes, Netherlands, on September 3rd, 1945 and came to Canada, landing in Halifax, with his parents and siblings at the age of 4 years. The family moved to Taber were Mo received his schooling. Mo operated a pig farm east of Taber and moved to Brooks in 1984. He was employed at Lakeside for 12 years, with Team Pipeline and most recently as a heavy equipment operator with Flint Energy Services. Mo will be remembered for his quiet nature and independent ways. He was predeceased by his parents Klaas and Alice and is survived by his children, son Darrell and his wife Lorraine in Lethbridge and their family Jaydean, Dana and Amanda; daughter Donna Marose and her husband Randy in Lethbridge and their child Darcee; son Dave and his wife Serena in Lethbridge; siblings Klaas in Taber, Hans in Taber, Agnes in Brooks, Dieny in Lethbridge, Janny in Taber and Dick in Taber and all their families. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 4th from the Christian Reformed Church, Brooks. Rev. Jake Corvers officiating.
