1938 ~ VARGA ~ 2015
Eileen Mae Varga of Redcliff, passed away on Friday, December 18th, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Eileen leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jerry (Cynthia) Varga of Medicine Hat; her daughter, Michele (Dave) McKim of Leduc; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Luke Varga; her mother, Madeline LaBoucane; and one sister, Verla Dortch. Eileen was a hardworking woman who loved playing bingo and volunteering there and at the Red Cross. She loved being outdoors, especially camping at Moyie Lake, BC. Her family was extremely important to her and she truly enjoyed watching her very active grandchildren at their various activities. Eileen was proud of all of her grandchildren and had a special relationship with each one. She was a special lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The Funeral Service was held at SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, on Monday, December 28th, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Memorial gifts in Eileen’s memory may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, Suite #309, 1010 – 1st Avenue NE, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 7W7, or to the Marjorie E.
