TOBLER – it is with pure sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mom and gramma, Albertina Tobler. “Al” was born in Fox Valley on April 2, 1933 and was raised on the family farm. She moved to Medicine Hat where she met her true love Ed. They were married on October 21, 1961 in Medicine Hat and together they farmed the family farm in Bow Island and later made Rolling Hills their home. Al took pride and joy raising their boys and helping on the farm. She watched with pride as her “baby boys” turned into men. Then came the grandchildren, no one can measure up to the gramma we had, many a boo boo could only be fixed by gramma’s band-aids and her hugs and kisses. Al touched the hearts of many and she will truly be missed by all who knew her. Al was predeceased by her husband Ed (September 25, 2006), two sons, Calvin (1984) and Leonard (2000). She is survived by four sons, Mike, Bruce (Karen), Brian (Carlena), Darren (Tannis) and a daughter-in-law Barb Kitchen; nine grandkids and two great grandkids. We miss you, mom, you will be forever be in our hearts. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON CHAPEL (Medicine Hat) on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Loren Hosfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery.
