Seely – May 25,1949 – Jan. 18,2024 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bea Seely at the age of 74. She will be remembered for her kindness to every living thing. She was well known in the Brooks area as the owner/operator of Brooks Answering Service. Bea kept very busy juggling all the duties of running a business plus raising a family and helping to keep the farm running. Bea and Harv travelled many miles together purchasing Miniature horses and quality quarter horses all while going to the race track, usually with a carload of friends and family to watch them run and she never missed a Odd and Unusual Sale. Her love of animals bloomed into the creation of Whispering Creek Petting Zoo. It is there that she shared all the special animals that came to live on the farm with the public. Bea had a special way with all the orphan wildlife brought to her to be saved and could often be seen with anything from fawns to baby raccoons following her about the yard. She took great pride in having an immaculately groomed yard. Bea loved to play bingo and always seemed to have extraordinary luck on her side. Bea and Harv looked forward to getting away on a fishing trip whether it be to northern Saskatchewan or out to the BC coast. She filled the extra hours in a day with crochet and diamond paintings and was sure to gift all her family and friends with ones they took a shine too. Bea was predeceased by Jim (Father) and Bernice (Mother) Westwick. She is survived by her husband Harvey; daughter Jerri (Garry) Fletcher and daughter Danelle (Lance) Ulrich and their son Aaron; sister Pam Lawson and her children Sheila and Shawna (Darrel) and their daughter Taylor and sister Loretta and her son CJ Westwick (Cheyenne) and new baby Camryn; brother Gene (Kelly) and their son Lane (Dakota) Westwick and their son Ben and son Brett (Jesse) Westwick and their children Jase and Zoey. Please save July 23, 2024 for a Celebration of Mom’s Life to be held at the family farm on. Updated service information will be announced closer to service day.
