    Scheuerman – Maureen Scheuerman of Brooks, beloved wife of Bernie Scheuerman, passed away unexpectedly north of Duchess on July 13th, 2005 at the age of 59 years. Born in Dundee, Scotland on February 27th, 1946 Maureen received her education there. She immigrated to Toronto in 1971 and moved to Brooks in 1976. Maureen Tyrell married Bernie on September 12th, 1997 in Medicine Hat and resided in Brooks. She worked at the Newbrook Lodge as a Nurse’s Aid retiring in 2003. Maureen loved her family, especially her grandchildren, her pets, flowers, gardening and knick knacks. She will be remembered for her Scottish accent and her sense of humour. Maureen was predeceased by her first husband Scotty Deick and her parents Francis and Magdaline Tyrell. She is survived by her loving family, husband Bernie; daughter Nicky Stinnissen and her husband Ed of Brooks and their children Hayden, Cooper, Cody, Kyle and Amy and family members in Scotland. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 19th from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Rev. Vincent Tuan Ha officiating. Honorary Pallbearers were her grandchildren Hayden, Cooper, Cody, Kyle and Amy. Active Pallbearers were Bill Scheuerman, Brett Scheuerman, Evan Scheuerman, Pat Stinnissen, Brian Gervais and Mike Rommens.
