Redelback – Clifford Redelback of Brooks, beloved husband of the late Audrey Redelback, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, ICU, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015 at the age of 88 years. He was born on January 29th, 1927 in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan to Christian and Katrina Redelback. Clifford married Audrey Grace Roberts in January, 1951 and raised two children, Marie Joan and Garth Jay. He started his career with the ALCB by day, and ice fished at nights and on weekends to make ends meet. Clifford was later employed by the Eastern Irrigation District and remained there until he retired, after more than 35 years. He loved to fish, bowl and was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Clifford was predeceased by his parents, brothers, and one granddaughter, Carla. He is survived by his children, Marie (Reinhold) Schuett of Brooks and Garth Redelback of Calgary; grandchildren, Cody (Vanessa) Schuett and Felicia Andringa; great grandchildren, Brennen and McKenzie Bateman, Grace and Stone Schuett and Xavier, Gabriel and Micheal Andringa and sister Rachel Shor of Medicine Hat. Clifford’s greatest gift was being a father. He was always there, without judgement. He will be missed. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 18th at 2:00 PM from Smith Memorial Chapel.
