It is with great love and deep sorrow that the family of Maggie May Rasmuson announce her peaceful passing with her family at her side on October 3, 2006 at the age of 93 years. May was born on July 1st. 1913 in Whitlaw, Alberta at the home of her parents Maggie May Adair and George Henry Hart. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Ruth in 1994, 4 sisters and 5 brothers. May is remembered with love by her devoted husband Raymond, daughters Elaine (Judy) of Gleichen, Claudia (James) of Magrath, Karen of Calgary, Beverly (Nick) of Turner Valley, sons Leslie of Drumheller, and Lawrence of Texas, also 21 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren. Come join with her family and friends as they celebrate the life of a Grand Lady. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 10th from Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. John Theiss officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are all of Maggie’s grandchildren. Active Pallbearers are Ross Bratland, James Murphy, Darwin Pigott, Miles Rasmuson, Brian Rasmuson and Coleman Rasmuson. Interment to follow at Duchess Cemetery.
