    Rainforth – Margaret Emily Rainforth aged 87 passed away April 29, 2007 in the Brooks Health Centre. Born at the family home in Carivale Saskatchewan May 27, 1919, Margaret was the oldest of six children born to James (Jim) and Kathleen Simpson. In 1959 Margaret moved with her husband Lawrence and six children to Duchess Alberta. In 2002 she moved from Duchess to the Newbrook Lodge. Throughout Margaret’s life many people have benefited from her warm and caring heart. There are many people who have been the delightful recipients of her handicrafts especially the afghans. Margaret leaves to celebrate her memory six children: Bruce (Kay) Green, Wayne Green, Willene Stuckey, Kay (Roy) Olsen, Gwen Martel, Peter (Patty) Green; brothers Wallace (Anne) Simpson and Jack (Eileen) Simpson, sister, Kay (Pat) McCauley, sisters-in-law Hazel Simpson, Ida Gordon and Willa Green; 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, many, many friends and a very special friend Gordon Scott. She is predeceased by her first husband Lawrence Green (1985), second husband Raymond Rainforth (1989), brothers George Bruce Simpson and Ralph Simpson, son-in-law Wayne Stuckey, brothers-in-law Norman Green and Cyril Gordon and parents Jim and Kathleen Simpson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church, 811 Cassils Road West, Brooks, Alberta. Honorary Pallbearers are Earl Buck, Nobby Fujimoto, Steve Grove, Pat McCauley, Ken McKnight, and Bob Ponting. Active Pallbearers are grandsons Larry Green, Jordon Green, Zac Jacobson, Josh Jacobson, Mike Martel and Bill Stuckey. Interment followed at Brooks Cemetery.
