Pye – Cayden Aleczander Christopher Pye of Duchess went to be with his Heavenly Father and eternal family on September 3rd, 2006 at the age of 14 years. Cayden passed away unexpectedly in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. Born on July 17th, 2006 in Chilliwack, B.C. he received his education in Duchess. Cayden loved his family, candy, bugs and worms, fishing, soccer and reading. He will be remembered for being an athlete and an artist. Cayden was predeceased by his grandfather Mike Newcombe, uncle Bert Pye and a cousin Candace. He is survived by his loving family, mother Dania Harris and her husband Richard of Duchess, father Wade Pye and his wife Angele of Sturgeon Falls, Ontario; 3 brothers Zach, Ryan and Riley; 2 sisters Dominique and Veronique; grandparents Diane Newcombe of Cultus Lake, B.C., Rowena and Darcy Boulay of St. Pascal, Ont., Nick and Sheila Mackowecki of Waskatenau, Alberta and John Pye of Port Elgin, Ont. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 11th at the Duchess Mennonite Church. Pastor Alvin Penner officiated. Honorary Pallbearers were Ryan and Riley. Active Pallbearers were his brother Zach and uncles Mark, Mike, Joel, Dean and Stewart. Interment followed at the Duchess Cemetery.
