It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Myles Wayne Paddock of Brooks. Myles passed away at Medicine Hat on February 18, 2016 at the age of 52. He was a kind, generous man who was selfless and always willing to help someone in need. Myles was a gentle and compassionate man whose joyful smile would light up the room. He was a trusted friend to many and will be remembered for his ability to encourage those around him. Myles was a hardworking man with vision for business opportunities. He was involved with numerous construction projects, operated an oilfield transportation company and even tried his hand at gold mining in the Yukon. Myles loved his family very much and spent spare time with them camping, snowmobiling and on dirt bike adventures. He was an avid muscle car enthusiast and enjoyed taking motorcycle trips. He is survived by his wife Diana whom he cherished in marriage for 32 years; 3 children Justin Paddock (Kirsten), Jesse Paddock (Kayleigh) and Jamie Eckert (Scott), all of Duchess; 8 grandchildren who were his entire world, Jaxson, Seth, Emily, Chester, Tate, Milo, Madden and Maverick; Myles was a beloved son to Wayne and Reita Paddock; brother to Joey Sinclair (Doug), Donna Lynn Crawford, Desiree Bougher (Kraig), brother Cory Paddock (Bonny) and is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 24 at 2:00 pm at the Duchess Community Hall. Reverend Alvin Penner Officiating.
