    Kaminski- Lydia Kaminski, nee Schulz, beloved wife of Edwin Kaminski passed away June 21, 2009 at the Foothills Hospital on the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit in Calgary. Born in Moscow, Russia February 13, 1923 she came to Canada with her parents David and Theresa Schulz in 1923 to the Cymric, Saskatchewan area. She was baptized and confirmed in the St. Paul Lutheran church in Duval, Saskatchewan. In 1952 she married Edwin Kaminski (of Lemburg, Saskatchewan) in Calgary. They were married for fifty-seven years. Lydia is predeceased by two brothers in infancy, her father David Schulz and mother Theresa Schulz, her brothers Alec Schultz and Leonard Schultz, a granddaughter Linnea Berg, a sister-in-law Marlene Schultz and a daughter-in-law Veronica Kaminski. She is survived by her loving husband Edwin, her daughter Lynda (Robin) Pedersen, Nicole (Curtis) McLauchlin, Heather (Guenther) Herzog, her daughter Debra (Brian) Berg, Sarah (Ryan Summach), Nathan (Melanie Marriott), Aimee, and her son David (Louise) Kaminski, Jennifer, Christopher and Kyle. Lydia also has a great-granddaughter Aaliyah Herzog. She is survived by her two brothers; Albert (Helen) Schultz, Harold (Edith) Schultz and their families as well as her sister-in-law Donna Gritzfeld and a maternal cousin Lydia Malesheva in Volgograd, Russia. A service of Praise and Thanksgiving will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009, 2pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Brooks.
