Dorothy Diane Vikedal, widow of the late Joe Vikedal, passed away in Calgary on April 12th , 2006 at the age of 60 years. Born in Taber on March 24th , 1946 Diane graduated from the Brooks High School. She had worked at various places among them Tirol Alfalfa, Dinosaur Park and currently at Richardson’s Jewellery. She was an avid gardener and especially loved her flower garden at her home in Tilley, she loved to travel, to crochet and to bake but her greatest joy was her grandchildren and the time she spent with them. Diane will be best remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, for being a great friend and neighbor. She was predeceased by her first husband Mike Virovec in 1987, her husband Johan (Joe) in 1992 and her father Stan Cameron in 1991. She is survived by her loving family, son Mike and his children Rebecca and Stephanie and their mother Penny; son Larry and his wife Carmen and their children Mycah, Cassidy and MacKenzie; son Doug and Lisa; her mom Peggy Cameron; brother Cal and his wife Lorette and their son Calvin and daughters Jen and Keri and their families and Joe’s family Carolyn and her husband Ray and children Kim, Joey and Jordan and Theresa and her husband Mike and their family Adam, Alex and Nicholas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 19th from Trinity Lutheran Church, Brooks. Rev. John Theiss officiating.
