On December 23, 2016, Mr. Donald Turner of Elk Point passed away at the age of 69 years. He is survived by his children, Joe Poirier of Comox, B.C., Billy Turner of Edmonton, Terri Turner of Lloydminster & Donald (Amber) Jr. Turner of Edmonton; 5 grandchildren & 1 on the way, Avery, Ashton, Jasmine, Malia & Tommy; sister, Lynn (Ted) Piraux of Calgary; brother, Ken Turner of Elk Point; brother-in-law, Byron Thrasher; sisters-in-law, Eunice Thrasher, Florence Raddi, & Lucy Ann Thrasher; numerous nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Kathy; parents, Fred & Jemima Turner; 2 brothers, Allen & Ron; sister, Darlene Roth. A Funeral Service was held on Friday, December 30 at 10:00 a.m. at Elk Point Seniors Centre, Elk Point. Pastor Kelly Sibley officiated, with interment in Elk Point West Cemetery, Elk Point.
