    Tuff – James Aloysuis Tuff passed away in Brooks on October 17th, 2004 at the age of 58 years. Born in Grand Banks, Newfoundland he was raised in Lamaline, NF. and had worked in the St. Lawrence Flurspar Mine at St. Lawrence, NF. Jim moved to Brooks in 1997 and had been employed at Lakeside. His special interests included fishing, camping, golfing, the outdoors and woodworking. He will be best remembered for his love for his family and for his sense of humour. Jim was predeceased by his wife Mary Margaret Tuff on June 28th, 2001 and his brother Bill in 2000. He is survived by his common law wife Holly of Brooks, his children – daughter Rose Lambe and her husband Tony and their children Stephen and Laura of Lewin’s Cove, NF., son Jimmy and his wife Darlene of Port Au Choix, NF., daughter Jackie and Darryl and children Jody, Hayley and Clint of Brooks and son Mike and his daughter Kayley of Brooks; sisters Margaret (Tom) Fleming and Mary (Ron) Ryan both in Ontario and Anne Burn in Newfoundland; brothers Maurice Tuff, Joe Tuff and Ray Tuff all in Ontario and Joe Harnett in Newfoundland and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 21st from Trinity Lutheran Church, Brooks. Rev. John Theiss officiating.
