TOROK – Mrs. Belle Torok beloved wife of the late Mr. John Torok of Lethbridge passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday, July 24, 2006 at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her children Larry and Gladys Torok of Edmonton, Bill Torok of Medicine Hat, Carol and Morley Angelo of Edmonton, Judi and Bill Erdman of Claresholm, and Jane and Eugene McNeely of Lethbridge. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, a sister Margaret Skuban of Medicine Hat, niece Elaine Hoon of Lethbridge, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Belle was predeceased by her husband John in 2002; parents Dan and Annie Syryda, and siblings Alec Syreda, Bill Syreda, Mary Kostiuk, Jean Hoon, Ilean Didow, Helen Coates, Ted Syryda, Fred Syryda, and Vic Syryda. Belle was born in Wolverine County, Saskatchewan and married John Torok in 1941. They farmed in Wolverine County until 1945 when they moved to Rolling Hills, Alberta. Mom and Dad moved to the Claresholm area in 1966 and then retired in Lethbridge. Belle was a homemaker at heart, and enjoyed her family, friends and gardening. Family and friends will forever miss her. A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 3:30 P.M.
