On September 25, 2014, Mrs. Helen Strzelczyk of Brooks, AB passed away at the age of 97 years.
Helen is survived by two children, Ronnie and Sheila (Earl) Riste; two grandsons, Roy (Kelli) Riste and Dean Riste; one great-grandson, Skyler Riste and one sister, Martha. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe in 1999; six brothers and five sisters.
Funeral Service Friday, October 3 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 511 – 4th Street W, Brooks, AB. Deacon Robert N. J. Wilson officiating with interment to follow in Brooks Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Medicine Hat SPCA, 55 Southwest Drive SW, Medicine Hat, AB T1A 8E8.
