STAFFORD, Gunnhild (Vicky) (nee Vikedal) passed away September 18, 2019 at Brooks AB. She was the only daughter of Judit and Ole Vikedal born September 7, 1940 in Norway. Gunnhild was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Kristoffer (Kris) Vikedal and Johan (Joe) Vikedal and sister-in-law Diane Vikedal. Gunnhild will be forever in our hearts and truly missed by her daughter Dawn, her son Brent (Betty), her brother John (Elaine) Vikedal, her sister-in-law Beatrice Vikedal, grandchildren, Natasha (Marc), Nicole (Gerry), Jonathan (Johanevie) great-grandchild, Adelle, step great-grandchildren, Halle, Gage, Dycen and Jayden and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, “adopted sisters” Edna Brietzke, Ida Stewart, Eileen French, “special friends” Pat Evans, Caroline and Larry Busse and Carol Kromrey. Vicky enjoyed going on bus tours and traveling to Saskatchewan with “the girls” she also enjoyed bingo nights at the Villa, watching movies, sewing, arts and crafts and she loved going for Lunch with friends and family after attending Church on Sundays. A celebration of Gunnhilds life will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Thom’s Funeral Home, Pastor Daryle Fox Officiating In lieu of flowers and in memory of Gunnhild, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to Newell Community Action Group.
