Shpak – William Henry Shpak of Duchess beloved husband of Sue went to be home with his Lord and Savior on June 23rd, 2016 at the age of 67. Bill was born in Windsor, Ontario on June 9th, 1949 and received his education at Belle River High School. He married Sue in December of 1969 and resided at Tilbury, Ontario until moving to Alberta in 1979. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time outdoors hiking and fossil collecting with his family. Bill loved his family very much and cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they were everything to him. He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Gladys and is survived by his loving wife Sue; children Bill Shpak Jr. (Janinne), Celine Durepos (Scott), and Jaime Entz (Karl); grandchildren, Marie Harvie, Michael Harvie, Krystina Harvie, Caelan Shpak, Tekayah Shpak and Ryan Entz; great grandchildren, Axton Patton and Raegan Patton; brothers, Dave, Robert, Rick and Andrew; sisters, Wendy, Cindy, and Crystal and numerous other family members. A celebration of life will be held at Thom’s Funeral Home on Thursday, June 30th at 2 p.m. Pastor Alvin Penner officiating.
