    SHEPHERD – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Alton Shepherd, who left us on February 28th, 2023 at the age of 78. He was born on August 8, 1944 in Coldwaltham, England to Kathleen and Howard Shepherd. Pat was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
    Pat lived a full and meaningful life, leaving an undeniable mark on the world around him. He was married to his first wife Helen in 1963, and together they had two sons, Shane and Larry. Pat worked at Crown Lumber and Coop Lumber before co-owning Brooks Decorating and then changed his career and went to work for the EID. His dedication to his work and unwavering commitment to excellence earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients.
    Pat was predeceased by his mother Kathleen Meadows, his stepfather Lyle Meadows, his father Howard Shepherd, his first wife Helen and his second wife Lori and his brother Wayne. His passing is a great loss to all who knew him, but his memory and legacy will live on forever.
    He is survived by his sisters Sandra (Joe), Sharon (Wayne), his Brother Terry (Brenda); half-sisters Donna and Lynn; his sons Shane (Kim), Larry (Nicki); step-sons Todd Lintott and Scott (Chrystal) Lintott, grandchildren Ashley, Coston, Carley and Carson Shepherd and Howie and Sophie Shepherd, Saffron and Lexus Lintott; great-grandchildren Keelyn, Brooklyn and Karter, numerous nieces and nephews.
    Pat will be remembered as a kind and compassionate man who always had a smile on his face and a kind word to share. He loved spending time with his family who brought him great joy and happiness. Pat enjoyed baseball, hockey, football, fishing, playing crib, and in his younger years he loved water skiing and swimming. Pat will be deeply missed by his loved ones but his spirit will continue to shine bright in their hearts.
    Rest in peace, Patrick Alton Shepherd. You will be forever missed and never forgotten.
    There will be a private Celebration of Life at a later date with family and close friends.
