    PRYOR – Edith Pryor (McIntyre)

    Edith (McIntyre) Pryor was born in Hanley, Saskatchewan on August 30, 1922 and she had a brother Wilf (deceased) and a sister Elsie. In later years she moved to Dundurn, SK and there she met John Pryor. They were married in Dundurn, SK and later moved to Dawson Creek, BC and they lived there for many years, while there their son Ken was born. In later years they moved to Vernon, BC for a short time. When John retired from truck driving they bought a holiday trailer and enjoyed camping and visiting with relatives. They moved to Brooks, AB and surrounding area for several years. Her husband John passed away in 1990 and after a couple of years Edith moved into Brooks to live in Villa 4. Edith was a member of the Brooks United Church and she received her Life Membership to the United Church Women of Canada in Brooks on March 11, 2010. She moved to Camrose, AB that spring and resided there till her passing. Edith is survived by her loving son, Ken and her two special grandsons, Scott and Mark of Edmonton and a sister Elsie. A memorial service was held in the Camrose United Church on Wednesday, May 20, 2015.
