Patterson – Margaret Jane Patterson of Brooks passed away peacefully in Brooks on May 20th, 2008 at the age of 86 years. Born in Darwel, Alberta on December 22nd, 1922 Marg received her education in the area. She spent her early years in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. Then she raised her family in the Edmonton area before moving to Brooks. Marg will be remembered for being a wonderful cook, great housekeeper and a great “Mom”. She loved her family, music, dancing and cooking. Marg was predeceased by her first husband Morey Branter, second husband Omer Bibeau and third husband Alex Patterson, son Blaine Branter, daughter Linda Branter, great granddaughter Julia Nielsen, parents and 12 siblings. She is survived by her loving family of children, Elwood (Colleen) Branter of Edmonton, Dale (Chris) Branter of Medicine Hat, James Branter of Vancouver, Colette (Terry) Thordarson of Brooks, Paulette (Alex) Munro of Edmonton and George (Donna) Bibeau of Edmonton and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
