Neufeld – Marlene Elinor Neufeld (nee Timm) of Rosemary, Alberta, beloved wife of Kelly Neufeld, passed away in the comfort of her home on Thursday, August 13th, 2020 at the age of 54 years. Marlene was born on February 20th, 1966 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Helmut and Elsie Timm. Marlene grew up in Winnipeg, until moving to Alberta, becoming a flight attendant, where she met her future husband Kelly Neufeld. They were married on October 12, 1991 in Calgary, Alberta. Her 2 sons, Dallas and Brett were born in Edmonton, Alberta. In 2000, the family moved to Rosemary, where they have resided since. Marlene’s greatest joys were her husband and kids, traveling and family and friends. She is survived by her husband Kelly of Rosemary; sons, Dallas of Medicine Hat and Brett of Calgary; mother Elsie Timm; sister Barb Sardachuk and husband Marc & family; mother-in-law Wanda; brother-in-law Greg and family; brother-in-law Darcy and his wife Chris and family; sister-in-law Carol Korkames and her husband Drew and family; along with many cousins and dear friends. Marlene is predeceased by her father Helmut Timm and father-in-law David Neufeld. A Family service was held on Tuesday, August 18th at 2:00 PM from the Rosemary Mennonite Church. Mr. Ben Nickel officiating. Interment followed at Rosemary Cemetery. In memory of Marlene, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Brooks and District Health Foundation, Bag 300, Brooks, Alberta T1R 1B3.
