MUSGROVE – James (Jim) Howard Musgrove passed away peacefully on August 7, 2006 in Brooks at the age of 80 years. Jim was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on February 21, 1926. He lived all his life in and around the Jenner area and will be lovingly remembered for his generosity, his encouragement, his lively discussions, his sense of humour and his positive outlook on life. Jim’s involvement and passion for community development and spirit will be difficult to follow. Jim was predeceased by his parents Lawrence Elmer Musgrove (1952) and Flora Catherine McKellar Musgrove (1980) as well as brothers Tom (1997) and Bill (2005). He leaves to mourn his wife of 54 years Annie of Jenner; son Stewart (Lenita) Musgrove of Duchess and their children Amanda (Laurent) Richer, Calin and Rebecca; son Eric (Ida) Musgrove of Jenner and their children Yvonne (Jason) Hansen, Amy, Jennifer and Erika; son Colin (Charlene) Musgrove of Brooks and their children Melissa, Devon and Lindsey; daughter Kathy (Dan) Compton of Patricia and their children Stacy and Shari (Sean) and their children Brayden and Jace; son John (Maura) Musgrove of Brooks; daughter Susan (Barry) Yokoyama of Brooks and their children Evan and Bryce; sister Doris (Leonard) Boyd of Stony Plain; brother Norman (Sheila) Musgrove of Patricia and sister Florence Musgrove of Calgary and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, August 11 from Brooks United Church. Reverend George Edmonds officiated. Internment followed in Jenner Cemetery at 3:00pm. Honorary Pallbearers are Jim’s many friends and coffee buddies. Active Pallbearers include Gordon Musgrove, Bruce Musgrove, Devon Musgrove, Jason Hansen, Allan Boyd and Stacy Compton.
