LUTON – Mary Luton, widow of the late Mike Luton, passed away on March 23rd, 2004 at her home in Rainier at the age of 67 years. Mary was born in Westward Ho, Alberta on June 3rd, 1936 and was raised in the Bow City Area. She and Mike were married in Medicine Hat on November 16th, 1963. Mary loved bird watching and listening to their songs. She will be lovingly remembered for her love for her family and for her sense of humour. She was predeceased by Mike on July 12th, 1988, her parents Edward and Viola, sister Lily Hodgson, infant brother William who died at the age of 9 months, brother-in-law Harvey Hodgson and niece Mary Sterritt. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Kathy McLaughlin and her husband Bruce, grandchildren Adam and Collin all of Airdrie; her special friend and soul mate Gordon Alcock of Rainier; 2 aunts, Catherine McAlpine and Eleanor Koepke both in Montanna; niece Alta Hodgson of Calgary, nephew John Hodgson of Tilley and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 27th from Smith Memorial Chapel. Rev. George Edmonds officiating.
