Kuz – It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our superhero father, Papa, brother, uncle and friend, Wesley James Kuz at his home in Brooks, on Thursday, January 12th, 2023 at the age of 62 years. Wes was born in Brooks, Alberta on May 24th, 1960. He was a man of many hobbies. All who had the pleasure of meeting him got to hear of his many dreams and visions, projects and passions. Wes loved old cars, drinking coffee and watching old westerns. One of his favourite pass-times was to watch his grandchildren play and passing all his wisdom on to his kids and grandkids. Wes will be remembered for; “His kind heart, he never had a lot but if ever there was a need he could meet for someone, he did it.” For his endless love, “Love Always, DAD.” His eagerness to help, “Ooooh you wait just a second buddy…I’ve got something for that!” His gentle soul; he was patient, non-judgemental and accepted people for who they are. For; “Always playing with me and being my number 10 buddy.” For; “Dreaming up the most ridiculous and awesome projects and actually making them happen. For; “Being my best friend, my superhero and my world. One of the three musketeers. I don’t know how to sum up such a wonderful person in just a few words. He is literally a part of everything I do. And will always be.” Wes was predeceased by his parents; Tony and Hazel Kuz; son, Rob Spencer and nephew, Grant Kuz. Wes is survived by his children, Elesha (Don) Lake, Crystal Kuz, Tiffany (Jessee) Kuz, Daniel (Jessica) Kuz, and Sean Lane. His grandkids: Syrah, Shanae, Maddox, Vander, Bobby, Wesley, Alvee and Ezra; siblings, Kim (Kelly) Kuz, Linda (Ken) Kozma, Len Kuz, Don (Kelly) Kuz, Wade (Pat) Kuz, Melody Kuz and numerous nieces and nephews. . In memory of Wes, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Brooks and District Seniors Outreach Society, Box 712, Brooks, Alberta T1R 1B6.
