JUSS – Eugene Louie Juss passed away from cancer on April 16, 2005 at the age of 55 years. He was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on July 7, 1949 and was raised on his parents farm northeast of Brooks. He took his schooling in Brooks until grade 11, graduating in Edmonton, followed by university. Gene joined the Church of Scientology and travelled extensively with them until settling in Clearwater, Florida. He married Chris Reppen of Toronto, Ontario and they raised three boys. Gene is survived by his wife Chris, sons Brian (Stephanie), Marcel and Ben, parents Leo and Julie Juss, brothers Grant (Donna), Lionel (Val), Cliff, Dan (Brenda), Paul (Janice) Richard, Malcolm (Ginny), sisters Joanne (Tom) Grove, Marlene, and Laurie (David) Neufeld, and numerous nieces and nephews. Gene was predeceased by an infant daughter Brigette. A funeral service is being held in Florida, followed by a private local family memorial.
