Hart – Thomas George Hart, of Brooks, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 8, 2018. He was born in Bassano, AB. on November 4, 1942 and grew up in the Cassils area. Tom owned Fix-It Upholstery for over 50 years, and was a partner in Focal Point Custom Embroidery. His favorite pastimes were quadding and sledding in the mountains and relaxing at home on the farm. Although Tom liked privacy, he enjoyed conversation with friends. He was a gentle and honest person, who loved family, nature and animals, especially his dog “Buddy”. Tom will be greatly missed by his wife Bonnie and sons Tom (Melissa), Scott (Lorena), Jason (Sherry) and Clayton and his grandchildren, Daniell, Brendan, Andreas, Angeles, Jonathan, Adam, and Mason. He is also survived by his sister Betty Lou (Bill) Bildersheim; brother Dick (Joan) Dick; brother-in-law Ken Budd; sister-in-law Dauna Sissons and numerous nieces. Tom was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth (Betty) Dick; father George Hart; stepfather Herb Dick and brothers Wesley and Larry. At Tom’s request there will be no funeral services. In memory of Tom, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of choice. Interment at Brooks Cemetery.
Cremation is entrusted to Smith Funeral Home Ltd. and Crematorium, Brooks.
