Anne Victoria Arnell
December 9, 1930 – January 2, 2023
Anne Arnell (nee Peltzer) passed away peacefully in the company of her family at the age of 92. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Brent (Brenda), Karen (Doug), Doug (Emma), her grandchildren, Stephanie, Kristen, Katie, Patrick, Ali, Evangeline and Vivienne, her sister Lucy, her five great grandchildren and extended family members.
Anne was born on a farm in western Saskatchewan, grew up on a second farm west of Duchess, Alberta with her four Peltzer siblings, and her studies led her to Calgary where she graduated from Garbutts Business School. She began work in the thriving oil industry and met Donald, her husband of more than 60 years. Together they raised their children while living in Wetaskiwin, Saskatoon and Regina, eventually returning to Calgary and enjoying a life full of family and friends. She now rests knowing she was loved by many.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Monday, January 30 with reception to follow at Eden Brook Funeral Home (24223 Township Road 242, (Calgary).
