Stolson – Sandra Lou Stolson of Brooks, beloved wife of Kurt, passed away in Brooks on July 20th, 2014 at the age of 67 years. Sandra was born in Wainwright, Alberta on November 1st, 1946 and received her education in Millicent and Duchess. She married Kurt on December 19th, 1964 in Tilley and resided there until they moved to Brooks in 1972. Sandra was an excellent bookkeeper and spent the past 12 years with Prairie Custom and Collision. She enjoyed games, gardening and was especially passionate about birdwatching. Sandra’s family was everything to her; she cared deeply about each one of her children and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Sandra was predeceased by her mother Hazel and 2 brothers Mervil and Leland Mikkelson. She is survived by her loving husband Kurt, 3 sons; Darcy and his wife Marissa of Ponoka, Kevin and his wife Kathy of Bowden, Brad and his wife Janis of Brooks, 9 grandchildren; Janelle Spek (Jacob), Colby, Cody, Dillin, Tyler, Kasandra, Katrina, Kayana and Mercedee Stolson, 2 great granddaughter’s; Aurora Stolson and Kenzi-Jane Spek, her father Jim Bushey of Red Deer, 3 sisters; Marilynn Lautamus and her husband Stu of Kananaskis, Fae Burton of Brooks, Carol Robinson of Red Deer and numerous other family members. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 26th at Trinity Lutheran Church, Reverend John Theiss Officiated.
