The county will not clear the snow this season on the path between Township Road 18-2 and Kinbrook Provincial Park.
Mark Harbicht, the county’s manager of municipal services said the work has not been complete.
“The top soil has not all been pulled in against the asphalt and things like that,” he said.
“It’s got road closure barricades up and the public is encouraged to stay off it at this time being incomplete and under construction.”
As for the new 4.3 kilometre path at Lake Newell Resort, Harbicht said the tender has closed.
He said it may be in front of council at the Christmas meeting depending on the bid amounts.
“Great to have that one moving forward.”
Harbicht said the path has not officially been turned over to the county.
