Another successful year for the Silver Sage Ag Society has allowed the organization to fund other non-profit organizations including the Brooks and District Health Foundation.
During the summer the health foundation was the recipient of a $6,900 donation that was from the organization’s general fund.
“As a board we began the year in January developing a forward facing strategic plan which begins with our vision for our society,” said president Ken Neufeld.
The society’s vision is to empower partnerships that unify and foster meaningful connections to the communities they serve.
“Inside of this vision and plan we have determined to partner and give back to this community as we did with the Brooks and District Health Foundation,” he said.
The Silver Sage Ag Society turned 50-years-old this year and they will celebrate the milestone with a New Year’s Eve.
“We look forward to the future and the next 50 years.
“We, as a society, are excited about the direction we are heading and the potential opportunities we see in front of us.”
