Editor, The Bulletin;
As a small business owner, both myself and my partner do our utmost to support others in our community. Unfortunately, our resolve was recently severely strained by a particular business.
I had lost the ignition key for my vehicle so I went to the local dealer for a replacement. It turned out that an appointment was necessary since it would take an hour to program a new key.
That was fine with me, unfortunately, while the service was good the cost was quite questionable. I have since contacted others dealers for price quotes: Medicine Hat, $135; Taber, $160; Brooks $280.
As I said, shop local if you can afford to.
