Wright – Coral LeRoy Wright of Brooks, beloved husband of Margaret, passed away peacefully in Brooks on January 15th, 2005 at the age of 90 years. Born in Beazer, Alberta on January 12th, 1915 LeRoy received his education there and later worked in the lumber industry in Claresholm and British Columbia. He married Margaret Patterson on March 19th, 1941 in Cardston and resided in Claresholm.
They moved to Brooks in 1946 where they farmed and LeRoy later worked for the Macleod’s Store retiring in 1980. Together they served as Missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Michigan from 1985 – 1986. LeRoy loved his church, family, fishing, hunting, the mountains and telling stories to children. He will be remembered for his kind, loving and humble personality. LeRoy was predeceased by a daughter Arlene and a son Bryce. He is survived by his loving family, wife Margaret of Brooks; son Lynn and his wife Glenda of Milk River; daughter Carol Blindback and her husband Poul of Enchant; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Zeldon of Cardston, Garth of Raymond and Lionel (Marie) of Cardston; sister Zelma (Elwood) Romeril of Stirling and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, January 19th from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Brooks. Bishop Nestor Martinez officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are Cheri Wright, Heather Brooks, Erin Brown, Doug Blindback, Tim Blindback and Michelle deForest. Active Pallbearers are Daryl Hippard, Evan Blindback, Leigh-Ann Blindback, Darren Wright, Brad Wright, Kerilyn Wright and Laurena Newman.
