    WOJCICKI – Isabelle Wojcicki of Red Deer, formerly of the Brooks area, passed away peacefully after a courageous struggle with cancer at the Red Deer Hospice on September 25, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Isabelle had a great talent and passion for playing Darts, even after her eyesight started to fail, she still enjoyed the game. She was good at knitting and would make all kinds of things for her family. Isabelle loved to tell stories about the sheep on the farm, they amused her very much.

    Isabelle will be lovingly remembered by her six children; Anthony Orlita of Bassano, Mickey (Claude) Carignan of Edmonton, Rosalin (Herman) Heck of Red Deer, Stan (Karen) Wojcicki of Brooks, Dwight (Kathy) Wojcicki of Grand Prairie and Rod (Sharon) Wojcicki of Brooks, six grandchildren; Corrina (Ryan) Carroll, Wes Heck, Morgan Wojcicki, Christy Carignan, Jordan Wojcicki and Chaz Wojcicki, three great grandchildren; Madison Heck, Ashlynn Carroll and Kenzie Carroll. She is also survived by one brother, Mike (Elaine) Orlita of Brooks, one sister, Mary Dora of Lethbridge, many nieces and nephews and her companion, John Fladhamer. Isabelle was predeceased by her husband, Tony in 1981, her parents, Tony and Stella and one sister, Vera. A Memorial Service will be held at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 – 67 Street) on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Isabelle Wojcicki can do so to the Red Deer Hospice Society (99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta, T4R 3S6).
