Williams – Victoria Ivy Williams of Brooks, beloved wife of Roger Williams, passed away in Brooks on Friday, August 4th, 2023 at the age of 65 years. Vicky was born in Vulcan, Alberta on November 24th, 1957 to Larry and Betty Hagg and attended school in Vulcan. She married Roger Williams in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on December 23rd, 1976. Vicky and Roger resided in Vulcan, Grande Prairie, Alberta, Vernon, British Columbia and then settled in Brooks. She was a dedicated and professional employee for Brooks Answering Service and later Select Call Centre, where her gift for communication was appreciated by the many businesses she represented. Vicky enjoyed sports, especially baseball, curling and football. Her favorite way to spend her time was with family and grandkids, who held a special place in her heart. Vicky’s family and friends will fondly remember her smile, infectious laugh and sense of humor, along with her kindness and compassion she had for others. She was predeceased bv her beloved son Dallas, father Larry, brother Joe, step-father Merle, sister-in-law Rhonda, mother-in-law Phyllis and father-in-law Lloyd. Vicky is survived by her loving husband Roger, son Dale and daughter-in-law Ashley and their kids Burke and Smith and daughter-in-law Tara and her kids Maxwell and Lydia; mother Betty; siblings, Terry, Chris (Ron), Roy (Ida), Steve (Penny), Rob (Nicole) and Ron (Melissa) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 17th at 1:00 PM from Cassils Community Hall. Luncheon to follow at Cassils Community Hall. Inurnment to take place in Brooks Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Vicky, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to either Brooks Mental Health Association, Bag 300, Brooks, Alberta T1R 1B3 or Heart and Stroke Foundation, 100 – 119, 14th Street NW, Calgary, Alberta T2N 1Z6.
