WHITFORD – Georgina Catherine (Boyd) Whitford age 68 years of Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Surrounded by her family Geogina passed away on May 18, 2014 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. She was born September 22, 1945 in Quesnel, B.C. Mom enjoyed solving her puzzle books, playing board games, crocheting and doing jigsaw puzzles. She loved being in the company of her family.
Georgina is survived by her children Gregory, Clifford, Walter (Heather) Ronald and Sandra (Eddy). Also left to mourn her passing are her sisters Rose Went and Cheryl Boyd, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Hilda and George Boyd.
As per Georgina’s wishes cremation was held and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Medicine Hat Hospital, especially Dr Ahmad and the nurses in the dialysis unit for mom’s wonderful care.
