WEATHERHEAD – Ellie passed away November 10, 2015 in Brooks, AB. at the age of 57.
She was born in Saskatoon, Sask., March 29, 1958. She is survived by her husband Rob Weatherhead, son Riley (Robyn), daughter Kathlin, as well as three grandchildren: Kaly, Brody, Jaylynn. Ellie was predeased by her parents and one sister-in-law.
Mom was the youngest of eight children raised on a farm in Saskatchewan. After graduating from high school she moved to Calgary where she met her husband Rob. They were married in 1980 and settled in Brooks where they raised two children while working full time jobs.
Mom’s family remained her number one priority throughout her entire life. She loved music, dancing and above all spending time with family. She made countless cross-stitch bibs and t-shirts for gifts. She loved hula hooping and created hoops for herself and others. Mom will always be loved for her imagination and witty humour. We miss our kind, caring, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
