WILFORD (WILLIE) MEREDITH WADDLE of Taber, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2008 at the Taber Regional Hospital after a long struggle with cancer at the age of 80 years. Willie was born July 18, 1928 at Hillandale, Saskatchewan.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn, daughters Pam Larocque (Ben Escott) and her son Ryan Smith of Calgary; Shelly (Terry) Beheil of Medicine Hat; stepson John (Geneva) Tilsley and family, and stepdaughter Dianne Skretting and family. He is also survived by his brother Robert (Audrey) Waddle and family.
At Willie’s request there will be no formal funeral, only a private family graveside service at the Vauxhall Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the Vauxhall Legion Hall at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2008.
