    Vanderloh – In loving memory of Victor Vernon Vanderloh (Vic), who passed away on March 16th, 2014 at the age of 85 years, at his home in the Newbrook Lodge in Brooks, Ab. Vic was born in Leroy, Sk. on April 23rd, 1928 to parents, Leo and Anna Vonderloh. He leaves to cherish his memory his son Bruce (Shannon) Vanderloh of Steveville, Ab.; three granddaughters; Kathy (Lee) Smith of Consort, Ab., Laura Kennedy of Medicine Hat, Ab. and Sandra Campbell of Vulcan, Ab.; three step-grandchildren; Christopher (Michelle) Becker of Brooks, Miranda (Dave) Wurz of Brooks and Daniel Becker of Taber, Ab.; great-grandchildren; Kailee, Jorrie and Courtney Smith; Matthew and Tyler Kennedy, Grace-Ann Campbell; Carson, Destiny and Hailey Becker. Vic is also survived by his brother Win Vanderloh of Medicine Hat; his sister Gertie Newby of Maple Creek, Sk.; sisters-in-law Blanche Coultis of Brooks and Joyce Coultis of Sarnia, Ont. as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Vic was predeceased by his wife; Irene Vanderloh (Coultis); his step-daughter Trudy Martinyak of Medicine Hat; Bob Gillis of Duchess; his parents, Leo and Anna Vonderloh of Maple Creek; his sisters, Virginia (Roy) Kolewoski and Jeanette (Henry) Klenk; his brothers and sisters-in-law; Jackie Vanderloh of Medicine Hat; Jim Newby of Maple Creek, Albert and Bea McBride of Wardlow, Ab.; Doug and Dorothy Williams of Cessford, Ab.; Allan and Betty Gage of Forest, Ont.; Anne Sierstead of Vauxhall, Ab.; George and Violet Harron of Ont.; three brothers-in-law; John Coultis of Sarnia, Ont.; Bert Coultis of Steveville and George Coultis of Steveville. Vic was always the happiest visiting with his family and friends, telling great stories and sharing a laugh. His love for horses, cattle and the cowboy way was strong all his life and he continued to plan for his next rodeo right up until he left us. Funeral Services for Vic will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 2 pm at the Patricia Community Hall in Patricia, Ab. Pastor Alvin Penner officiating. Active Pallbearers will be Ken Vanderloh, Lee Smith, Glen Newby, Chris Becker, Ron Klenk and Drew Halter. Honourary Pallbearers will be Win Vanderloh, Gertie Newby, Art Hopp and John Ostafichuk. Interment to follow at Cravath Corners Cemetery at a later date.
