Adriana Van Otterloo, beloved wife of Eimert Van Otterloo of Brooks, passed away in Brooks on May 18th, 2005 at the age of 78 years. Born on March 9th, 1927 in Scheveningen, The Netherlands, Adriana Taal immigrated to Canada in February of 1951. She and Eimert were married in Duchess on September 23rd, 1951. Adriana loved her family and held her children and grandchildren close to her heart even though many lived at a distance. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Willy and her sons R.J. (Angie) and Scott Kabotoff; son Maarty and his wife Ali and their children Josh, Sarah and Sam; son Bill and his wife Mary Ellen and children Kris (Peter) and Jer; daughter Sheryl; 3 great grandchildren Nic, Peyton and Linden; 3 sisters, 1 brother and their families in The Netherlands. Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 21st from the Christian Reformed Church, Brooks. Rev. Christopher Fluit officiated. Pallbearers were R.J. Kabotoff, Scott Kabotoff, Peter Rakestraw, Jeramie Van Otterloo, Tom Van Otterloo and James Duenk. In memory of Adrianna, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of choice.
