Alexandre “Frenchy” Danny Ullhorn of Brooks, beloved husband of Nicole Davis and father of Alicia Ullhorn, passed away unexpectedly near Carmangay, Alberta on November 20th, 2004 at the age of 26 years. Born in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec on September 26th, 1978 Alex received his education there. He moved to Brooks in 1998 to pursue a career in the oil and gas industry. Alex met Nicole in 2000 and together they have raised their daughter Alicia “Lily” in Brooks. He loved his family, his dog Darby, off roading and his reptiles. Alex will be remembered for his sense of humour, loyalty, his outspoken personality, his honesty and dedication to his family. He is survived by his loving family, wife Nicole and daughter Lily; parents Camille Grandbois and Hilda Ullhorn of Quebec; 2 sisters Kathy and Carole of Quebec; in-laws Lawrence Davis of Bow Island and Theresa Davis (Stan Bellavance) of Camrose and nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 26th, 2004 from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Brooks. Rev. Father Vincent Tuan Ha Celebrant. Alex’s daughter Lily was the Honorary Pallbearer. Active Pallbearers were Ryan Mobbs (Skippy), Brent Iverson, Jeremy Alexander, Ryan Phaff, Phil Thomas and Rob Davis.
